Our plants and sizes

This is what you should expect to receive. These are examples of our gallon plants. Own root roses are typically smaller than the grafted varieties at the big box stores. At maturity, you will find no differences.

Depending on the time of year, your rose may not have foliage. Not to worry, the leaves will quickly grow back. We may also trim back for shipping. Some varieties are much larger or smaller for the same age. In Oklahoma with our wind we sometimes cut our canes back to keep the nursery plants from tipping over and being damaged by other plants. You may receive a plant that looks like "sticks". This plant is very much alive and will leaf out quickly after acclimating to your environment.
